D.C. Boathouse
your comments review this restaurant
The restaurant was charming, food was pretty good, but we were shocked at the price of beer when we got our check -- $7 per beer! Fully half our bill for dinner was for the beer (my husband and I each had two). This just seems extraordinarily pricey for a restaurant that has paper table clothes and serves the condiments and coleslaw in little plastic tubs. The beer price is not listed on the menu nor did the waiter mention it (nor did we think to ask). Although this might have become our favorite "neighborhood" restaurant, the sticker shock has scared us off.
