We've been going to Pasta Plus since it opened in 1983 and it's still the best Italian Restaurant value west of Italy. Worthy of the Food Network's "Best of" series, the fresh homemade pasta and brick-oven baked breads and pizza are unbeatable. Prices are extremely reasonable, the ambience is a little worn but cozy, and the lines at the door start forming before the place - in a little strip mall in Laurel, MD -- opens for dinner each evening at 5 p.m. Owner Max Mazziotti and his brother Sabatino, the chef, pay attention to detail and you won't find a better bargain anywhere.
