our comments

Nirvana does all-vegetarian Gujarati cooking. The menu is meatless, but Nirvana also has the usual array of doas, idlis and North Indian selections. The menu is filled with rare home-style cooking. The uniqueness of the menu means relying heavily on the menu descriptions. Sample dishes include the bharva subji, a medley of stuffed peppers and potatoes filled with a blend of coconut and nuts. Don’t forget to try the dessert, what could be termed a multi-fruited fig bar, but which is actually called gugra. It’s filled with dried fruits and cooked milk. Definitely a place worth looking into.

I ate at Nirvana yesterday, a place I have enjoyed for several years. My friend and I were chatting at our table for a few minutes after a very nice lunch and the owner lady asked us to leave because there was a small line of people waiting for tables. No longer a repeat customer!
