Yamazato is the best place I've found for sushi in the DC area thus far. I live in Koreatown (Annandale), a place notorious for korean-style all you can eat sushi places. Not so good. Yamazato is great for the classics, as well as very cutting edge and innovative (although certainly not authentic) sushi rolls. A few of my favorites are the salmon skin roll (crispy salmon skins topped with thinly sliced scallion), vegas roll, and I believe it is called the Three Amigos roll (with Jalapenos in it). Their entrees also are very delicious - on the Thai side of the menu I enjoyed the drunken noodles and I also had a very good Katsu cutlet.

To top it off, they deliver. It's amazing. The staff is also very attentive to food allergy specifications .
