I'm really happy to find this restaurant. I feel I can finally eat real Japanese food. All other Japanese restaurant with Niwano hana price range are not Japanese food in my opinion.

For creative sushi with good portion size and an agreeable dollar value, there are no other places in Montgomery County that come so readily to mind as Niwano Hana. Be ready for a wait if you arrive there on a Friday or Saturday night, though there are usually ample places to sit at the sushi bar. The maki size is splendid and the diversity of the sushi worth the wait for a table. The servers seem to forget about you throughout the evening, but all is forgiven when your food is brought out to you and you sing the praises of the sushi chef. The beverage cost is almost profane so we only partake of the hot tea or it will quickly amount to half of our bill for a few beers, and the soft drinks to not have free refills either, (I know, it surprised me too). The volcano roll is a mountain of taste and the alligator roll rounds off the dinner nicely with the typhoon roll and the soup and salad. We've taken all of our sushi lover friends here and none have ever left less than thrilled with the food. I found their maki the way to go with the menu as the a la carte sushi was not as good of value for the portion size and taste.
