While good generic Asian food (decent sushi, good Thai, good Chinese), the service has been nothing short of horrendous at this otherwise potentially good Palisades eatery. During a recent moderately busy night, it took four sushi chefs (and one has to wonder how many were actually qualified as sushi chefs) nearly an hour to prepare a simple order. While this is somewhat understandable, allowing the soups to stay cool while THE WAIT STAFF ATE IN FULL VIEW OF THE CLIENTELE was inexcusable. To top this, when I asked to speak to the owner, his immediate response was hostile - literally telling me I had a choice of places to go and if I didn't like his restaurant, I could leave. I was staggered by the owner's rudeness. Clearly, he was having a bad night, however, in the hospitality business, it would be expected that one would have a better means of dealing with that (a free drink? a free appetizer) other than hostility and rudeness.
