After such a lovely meal with great food and wine for my friend's 21st birthday with a group of 16, it is really a shame that the management and serving staff could have ruined this place so horribly. The waitress was rude and had an attitude problem, consistently treating us like it was an honor for her to be serving us. She brought out the wrong dish on several occasions and accused us of changing our minds. The manager was horrible - when there was a disagreement over the method of payment (he refused to take more than 5 credit cards for the whole table), he proceeded to verbally abuse the entire party. After paying him $10 to get him to agree to using more cards, he then charged me tax and tip on that bribe. Absurd! Awful management!

Service was horrendous. Food was average. You could do better elsewhere in DC.

Restaurant Bistro D'Oc is fabulous. The service is friendly and attentive, the food is wonderful and the wine list is great. With all of the restaurant choices in the area, we still return to Bisto D'oc for our special occassions.
