This restaurant combines the talents of two gifted DC chefs – Greggory Hill, formerly of Gabriel, and David Hagedonr, formerly of Trumpets. This restaurant boasts dazzling décor with paintings, flowers and uniforms from local artists. The only way to describe the cuisine is contemporary. It mixes Mediterranean, Southwestern and Asian tastes. Samples options include Zuccanelloni – feta cheese, pine nuts and more, and also roasted "cob" of corn with Virginia goat cheese. Other options include wood-roasted ancho chicken on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes. The wine list is commendable and the cocktail selection makes this venue an attractive hangout with the younger crowd.- April 2005
