A bright, cheery little restaurant offering a very long menu, this café is all about Chinese eats on the run. Although you can dine in at one of the very few tables, most people get their food to-go. Like similar restaurants, the emphasis here is on speed, not necessarily on haute flavors. We found the beef with broccoli with its dash of star anise better than average, but bemoaned the lemon meringue-pie quality of the lemon chicken, too sweet and gooey by far. We started with the ubiquitous pu pu platter. This starred two of everything: spring rolls, fried wontons, chicken wings, skewered chicken and shrimp toast.
