Located within walking distance of two other noteworthy Thai restaurants along Columbia Pike, Bangkok 54 could easily become lost in the shuffle---except for three reasons: its attractive decor, its budget-priced menu, and its above-average food. The menu is diverse with everything from roast duck salad and green papaya salad accompanied by chicken satay and sticky rice, to catfish curry, yellow chicken curry with roti, and five-spices stewed pork. Note that local Thai students flock here for home-style fare in a dressed-up setting. Looking for something a little more authentic than the usual Thai grub?
